In searching for a title sponsor for Smash Hits, the annual charity tennis event co-hosted by Billie Jean King and Sir Elton John, Net Results Marketing went back to good old cold calling after researching companies who would be a natural fit for this internationally televised event which raises money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation and local AIDS charities in each market it visits.

The Results

Net Results Marketing secured a new multi-year title sponsorship with Mylan, a global generic and specialty pharmaceutical company based in Pittsburgh, PA. The event naturally went to Pittsburgh in the first year of sponsorship with Net Results Marketing overseeing the entire event, and netted over $1 million to the Elton John AIDS Foundation, a record for the 20 year-old event. Mylan subsequently became Title Sponsor of the whole WTT Professional League.
